Great Video! A few notes: None of my big impacts (Hazet, Milwaukee, Snap-on) would touch the crank bolt. I had to use a pulley holder and a breaker bar with a 3 foot pipe on it. One of the tightest I have ever seen. The engine really doesn't need to be supported by the cross jig; the other mounts keep it from dropping. I didn't open the steering hoses; just lifted the pump on top of the intake manifold. I also didn't remove the strut cross-bar. Agreed the Aisin TKH-002 kit is the way to go. Thanks again.

FWIW, a strong impact like a Milwaukee combined with the Lisle crank bolt socket will make quick work of that crank bolt and get it off in 2-3 seconds.

Also, the Gates water pump is commonly known to leak after a while. The kit recommended is typically the Aisin TKH-002 kit. It has an Aisin water pump which is an OE standard water pump along with a Mitsuboshi belt, also OE standard.

I have a 2012 Accord 3.5 v6, This looks like the correct way on time belt replacement. Im worried if these local mechanic around my way follow the same procedure. And how much would it cost to get it done ??? Hmmm cant trust them for some reason

How did you remove the harmonic balancer bolt after you turned the engine twice ? I have nothing but hand tools and I don’t wanna turn the motor counter clockwise wise because I feel like the new belt might jump a tooth, it’s pretty tight but I don’t know if it’ll damage the engine since I’m turning it backwards

I put propane heat to it even sprayed jb blaster on it still won't do nothing
