I just made the most random decision in my life. I am going to do aerobatics training at a flight training school in England. I've never been into flying in my life. Saw a TV show that featured stunt flying. Loved it immediately. My lifelong fear of flying instantly evaporated. I looked up the training courses. Found a basic course to get me started. Started saving the cash required as of now.
I think my life is going to change dramatically.

Simply stunning visuals. Your talent with the camera is amazing! I don't think I've ever seen aerobatics so well captured. I also enjoy the emphasis on 3D manoeuvres performed at zero airspeed. While they have become more popular in modern times, these pilots seem to do them slower and more gracefully. My favourite was the Extra 330 LX performance.

SMOKE OFF. Its the one thing that has made modern aerobatic displays worse. While the level of flying and aircraft have become so much better, the displays are obscured by a large and unnecessary cloud of smoke. Even more so when a stall and tumble is executed. Can not wait for this smoky thing to finish and it may be better for the environment ?
