We managed to get a male MC cross that had been returned to the shelter twice. We have enjoyed his presence for about 5yrs now and he is NOT going back. He is smart in ways animals usually are not and trains himself. Like typical MCs he likes to go outside but actually stays in the backyard and comes in when called. He is a MASTER mouser and follows momma around like a dog, never being far away. He will come and get us to clean his litter boxes, open doors or feed him never demanding. He is such a gentleman, the sweetest boy.

I met him when he was a stray cat in late September 1981. He was my special friend for a cat for a little bit over 12 years.

I have a tuxedo MC with classic markings! I Didn’t know he (Charlie) was going to be 18lbs and 3+ ft long as a kitten from a local shelter. Love the big fluff kitties! His buddy is a black female short hair that wandered into my courtyard. She’s (Bee) 8lbs of playful joy. Bee often initiates playful wrestling and Charlie is so gentle with her. Thanks for showing the gentle giants. ❤

Mine is a rescue from the parking lot of the apartment I use to live in about 10 years ago. He’s on the smaller side at about 36” and 14-ish lbs, but he’s as sweet, smart, and gentle as can be. He use to be a big talker making all kinds of noises, even when he was sleeping, which is why I think someone threw him out…lucky me though, I love him to bits.

Our MC ‘Spike’ was adored totally, intelligent and with a wicked humorous way of being - one morning we let him out (after being in our family for 3 years) never to be seen again! 750 flyers and endless enquiries didn’t find him. My mistake, not getting him microchipped when he was a kitten. We STILL miss him to this day!

I had a down syndrome cat + she was just wonderful ! She lasted for 20 years plus I took her to my pet doctor + he said that this was the 1 st time he ever saw this kind of cat but he agreed with me ! She had short legs, baby teeth, not very thick nails which I was glad of ! ❤️🐇🐰🌹💀☠️⚡️😍😘🥰 she was my baby girl named baby sue ! 😻😽😺😿I miss all of my cats that I kept !
