Bass Reeves was a legendary lawman who brought justice to the Wild West. He was a former slave who became the first Black U.S. Deputy Marshal west of the Mississippi River. Reeves was known for his bravery, intelligence, and skill with a firearm. He captured over 3,000 criminals during his career, including some of the most dangerous outlaws in the West.

This is great but bass Reeves would not be the first black Shariff this would not be uncommon to have black wanted Shariff or bounty hunters in these parts I think in certain parts of Texas too why only talk about bass Reeves as if he's the only what I understand the lone ranger was based on three black figures it's great to hear about bass Reeves but I just don't want people to think he was the only one
