I really loved Mykonos. My wife's family is from Ikaria and we went this summer. It was very nice. I hope to return someday.

The village you visited was the well known Christos in the Raches district.
Pigi is somewhere else, more to the east in the direction of Evdilos.

Don't go to Ikaria. We don't want ANY tourists here. If you still come here, respect the place. We don't want your tip, or your money. We don't hurry, we don't serve (hollywood)omelette made of egg whites. Throw your watch in the harbour, we don' t measure time. Don't moan if the staff at the restaurant isn't polite, because; you know? they don´t care. They serve good local food and don't make any difference if your'e from greece or abu dhabi, montana or patagonia. If you just relax, forget your planning, throw away your time table, meetings, forget your email psw.. then you are up for a real god time. So until then. Relax: losen your stress and WELCOME. We don't f**k around.. 😁😎🥳
