WOW an actual full on review. This is one of the best review on youtube, literally! Been looking for a good full review on the Ionic and Versa and was iffy about buying the Versa. But after watching this video i'm sold. Very detailed and Straight opinionated Video. Keep up the good work.

HIKE OPTION UPDATE: After I filmed this I found that they have a Hike Exercise Tracking Option that I have used to track my Hikes now. Its in the Phone App options, you can pick 7 different exercise types to display. Hike is now my first options:).

I am also a versa user. You can try logout from app and login again so the maps will show up correctly. I too had that problem..

If Strava is connected to your Fitbit account, then yes your run will get sent to Strava. The Strava app on the Ionic logs into your Strava account

Hey! Thanks for the video - good stuff. I noticed you have good GPS quality where you went on those bike rides... where I am, it is pretty terrible and the position jumps erratically making the distance information a real problem. Not only is it unusable, but the Versa takes that GPS distance and adds it to the daily tally, making that go completely off the rails too. Is there any way you know of to get the Versa to not use the GPS distance data? I don't mind getting a map with some erratic jumps in it, and I love the other stuff that is tracked for an exercise, but I just want to ability for the GPS-calculated distance to not be used...

i only get 2days out of it, i am a livestock hauler, an steps are not correct because of the way the truck steering wheel vibrates, but i use more yhe heart rate and time so that ok, how can i get more battery time

Thanks for the review. I have a pebble time and have decided to get something new that has a heart rate sensor since they never got to release the time 2. This is basically a pebble and will love it and the mainly that battery life. Thanks

If you don’t bring your phone when you run it will not show your map because it has connected GPS

Hi just found ur video. Very informative. Is the ionic the same as versa except or shape? Kind of like the looks of the ionic but my wrist may be too small? I also am looking at the music aspect? Any opinion? Heard it has problems.
