A little over 15 yrs ago I made God a promise. If he would help me overcome alcohol and drugs I would never turn back to them again. A promise I hold dear to my heart. I see looking back now that this was God's design for my life that I would surrender it all to him to find the real me. It is the best promise I've ever spoken and kept to him and myself. I love my life with all its ups and down and at least I'm sober to realize what I could not see in my best days of using.

God's granted me 20 years of fighting my demons (instead of laying down for them) and kicking their teeth in one by one. First demon to die was the one pushing drugs and I'm proud to have 20 years free from living street messy with a needle in my arm.

I've got lots of baggage but Jesus says His burden is light and suffering is momentary and all worth the eternal glory with Him and His worshippers forever!!

I'm so thankful for Jesus and so thankful to have found y'all, who speak lots of words that ring so very true to my life.

May the banner of Jehovah Nissi be over and around you and His favor and grace protect and bless your ministry and I can't wait to worship Jesus with you in Heaven 🙏❤️

I feel blessed...My second son now in his 30's came into this world with ADHD and major anger issues. During his teens he went through drugs fighting many issues now he owns his own property has two beautiful sons and now knows Jesus...Full of Tatts looks like the ruff stuff but is loving his new found freedom ...Sometimes it takes a journey to see and know the Truth!

A week ago I didn't give a shit if I woke up or not. I have been struggling for months but I broke Wednesday and I hear this song today on the 1st day I have smiled for the 1st time in 2 years. I have numbed myself with medication or distractions instead of getting the help I need. Mental illness isn't a weakness and I know that now. I am in therapy now and my biggest issue is I hate myself. But I'm learning to love myself
