Kinda like a tequila negroni with a little of a twist

According to Liquor.com… Although there were precursors of this drink dating back to the 1970s. Gary “Gaz” Regan is responsible for developing the cocktail into what it is today. Featuring in his 1991 Bartender’s Bible, where he has increased the tequila ratio, adding the bitters and split the vermouth into both sweet and dry.

Regan calls for 100% Agave tequila. Blanco for a brighter drink, reposado for an oakier drink.

45ml/1.5oz Tequila
15ml/0.5oz Sweet vermouth
15ml/0.5oz Dry vermouth
15ml/0.5oz Campari
1 Dash Angostura bitters (2 if using dasher bottle)
Lemon twist
