The only 5000 year old part of Stonehenge is the "station stones, " four large stones placed very far apart around the central stone formation. They are perfectly aligned with the solstices and lunistices, and are the only things at the site like this. They form a perfect rectangle, which would not be possible they were 50 miles further north or south. Within this same 50-mile range in North America, another 5000 year old circular stone formation called the Majorville medicine wheel was found.

I believe Stonehenge is a primitive version of the castle and mote. It would function (when completed) as a fortress of security to protect those who got in it before the "bad guys" showed up. I believe the chalk drums found with buried children are representations of what it would "vaguely" look like when completed. There are many ditch and mound circles with pillars in the middle of them through out the British isles. I believe these were all fortresses of security at one time in the past.

... that's all?
2 minutes of info doesn't tell what WHAT IT IS. Just tells me that it exists and was built at a certain many points on our timeline.
