How to select different colour worlds with MINI Ambient Light | MINI How To

Learn in this video how to set the mood in your MINI. With models produced from March 2021, MINI introduces two colour worlds for interior lighting and displays. Just choose your favourite ambience. The configurable colour worlds illuminate the Central Information Display, the Instrument Cluster, the LED ring, and the Ambient light.
Just go to ‘My MINI’, ‘System settings’, ‘Displays’, ‘Colour scheme’ to select “Lounge”, “Sport” or activation depending on driving mode. Switch the driving mode toggle to SPORT and the light ambience follows suit. For John Cooper Works models the colour world ”Sport” is default – “Lounge” mode for all other models. For both modes 6 ambient light colours are available by toggling the switch in the roof centre.

When I got my Mini Cooper SE it was showing a red/orange colour on the right side of the ring, but after tried this ambience lighting I wasn’t enable to set it again to the orange/red light on the right side of the ring… 😢 But I really like it. It’s possible to set it again? Thanks 🙏🏻

I love my 2021 red signature trim hardtop with Union Jack mirror caps and a Union Jack on the roof, but only the Germans could have come up with something so complex to change the colour of my led ring on the central console. Lol

Yes, but there is impossible to configurate the car with this due to restrictions! 😭

I’m going to put in the lighting myself cuz my model doesn’t have it. Dealership fail because I would have paid extra since it was optional in my year model.

Let's see if mini read these, after the SOS recall my mini and others on a forum I've read have lost the ability to set a desired colour for ambient lighting and every time you enter the vehicle now it's reverted back to the teal colour. Tried telling dealer but they didn't plug car in to check what's causing it and instead said I will have to wait until mini release a fix when they know about it. I'm shocked at how bad bmw mini customer service is!
