The engine has been sitting for over 30 years. This is the first test fire since. Two intake valves were stuck open. We were able to tap them back down a few times and get them working again. All we did was file the points, connect a battery and add fuel! This engine will eventually get a complete overhaul as the boat restoration hasn't even begun yet. We were curious to see if the engine would run and what the condition was.

Did you guys go through the carb on that old girl first or was that a raw rip no tuning necessary? How did the compression numbers look after a heat cycle? That was pure entertainment! Thanks!
