This doesnt work because the setup explicitly says to make "200." "Too 100", while it sounds like two hundred, is not "200." The riddle only works if you do not write it down. Just have the "100 100" sheet and verbally cite the rules. That is the only way this wordplay works.

If you specify "make 200", that means you have to add 1 like to "100 100" and make "2 0 0." Because it's written as the number "200, " the homonym angle doesn't work and is not an appropriate solution.

I think she answered it right but executed it wrong. This was meant to be a verbal confusion joke based on interpretation, but by writing it out as "200", there is no room for interpretation.

These are the worst type of "riddles, " because they're so far out of the box that even if you thought of the solution, you would reject it because it's so dumb. But the people telling them are so smug and act like you must be dumb to not get it.

It's like hearing a joke from a toddler who doesn't understand how jokes work, but you have to just go along with it and smile.

This riddle could've worked had you just not at all written down "Add 1 line to make 200"
If you had just spoke it, then it's more open to it being interpreted as Too 100 since you haven't specified if you meant 200 or Too 100

Having it written on paper and CLEARLY specifying the number 200 makes it out that it NEEDS to be that, and Too 100 becomes an incorrect solution

You didn't write the question down correctly. If you would have just phrased it out loud it would make sense. But you wrote down 200 on paper making the play on words not work due to the paper question.
