COMMON SENSE 101: Never punch gas on a FAST CAR while turning!

If he would’ve stayed on the throttle a little bit more and counter-steered just a little bit harder, he would’ve powered right on through that tail slide!!!!

When you let off the power prematurely it kills the momentum that’s driving the car in the direction that the wheels are turned and instead will make the momentum of the car change to the direction the car is facing….

This is also how overcorrecting happens, for when the ass end of the car is out and you are in full shift lock stance sideways, if you let off the gas prematurely, it will take away the momentum that is driving the car sideways but Straight ahead, and instead make the car jump in the direction that the wheels are facing which when you are counter steering, that means the car is then going to jump in the direction that the wheels are pointing all of a sudden like too…

also practice on the dry dirt before you work your way up to dry pavement cause dry dirt requires less reaction time and you can be a little bit more sloppy with your counter-steer!
