There are dozens of ways to throw a cast net, but these step by step instructions for the MULLET METHOD that is used by commercial mullet fisherman will reduce your load time for your next toss. Works great on nets 8 , 10, and 12 feet long. A 12 foot cast net is our preferred net.

When I saw the gentleman wearing a button-up shirt trying to teach us how to throw a net I thought of the first thing I tell those that I teach; "never wear a shirt with buttons on it when trying to throw a cast net".

Lol, this method ensure u will go into water, which commercial fishing have all that space so u can run around like that.

Won't work if your wading waist deep with a 12' mullet net. That's how a rookie would do it. Let's see you do that spinning junk with my 20' net. I'll be fishing you outa the water.
