Hey Mo! I (Tom Golden) remember you from Ellicott 6 days. So good to see you here and see all the memories. Got any gum???? Remember that? LOL Ol Lucas was a pistol. Mo Howard was truly a great basketball player but this we exceeded by his maturity and goodness as a young man and I am sure it carried with him throughout the years. If you watch the old college films of Mo, look at then he was called for a foul by the ref. Mo would turn to the ref and nod in agreement. I can't remember seeing anyone else doing that. He didn't get upset, didn't fume, just nodded and I am sure this impressed every ref who then would be more likely to be as fair as they could with Mo. Not only a mature strategy, but one that was likely very helpful in the game. You go Mo!

Mo Howard is a philadelphia lengend. Great Player and Person. Ive been around Mo a little bit and he has a Give Back Mentality. Way to go Mo. You were always better than John Lucus in my opinion

Mo Howard was a 6'3" shooting 🏀 guard with a 50" inch vertical leap, teamed with NBA Great John Lucas to form a lethal backcourt at Maryland (College Park). Made it to the NBA 🏆.
