New TG isn't a patch on the Clarkson, Hammond and May years but it was starting to get somewhere.
Chris is a genuinely likeable and knowledgeable car guy. Paddy and Fred are pretty funny.
I must admit I preferred Chris and Matt LeBlanc together as Matt is also a car guy.

That’s what I liked about old top gear and grand tour over new top gear, they did tricks and stupid stuff with cars that actually seemed like it could happen like the Citroen setting on fire or flipping the reliant Robin and then some shit that was so obviously faked that it was funny or stuff that was so random you couldn’t help but be surprised and hysterical, new top gear is so fake in a bad way, like when Jeremy had a flamethrower on the back of his Audi or set fire to the back of his truck, the new tg is to lame and tame compared to the stupidity of old tg, and the one thing new tg lost is what made old tg the best car show to date, they didn’t only review cars everyone knew and only expensive cars, they did cheap and everyday cars and borderline ridiculous cars, cars that had so many problems that made it feel real, no car is completely perfect and it showed, the silliest breakdowns and mods they did, and faking hate towards your friends is funnier than faking a bond with your enemies cause fr the new hosts all hate each other
