Very nice setup! I would move the license plate somewhere else completely. In its place put a hanging pot of pothos. Hang it so it is level with the top shelf on the right for symmetry's sake. Once the plant fills in and grows down it would look fabulous. It's also a good location for the plant since that beautiful window is there. Pothos doesn't need tons of light or care. Water it once a week or so and it grows like crazy. It is a very low maintenance plant.

Beautiful space mate! Love the cozy feel, and glad to finally see someone who doesn't have a sit/stand desk "just because" haha. I love fixed height desks without the extra electronics and things to break, and yours is very clean and super practical with the drawers! Love seeing inspiration for something closer to what I enjoy! Keep up the great content!

Great setup, totally close to my goal. Just all tech on main wall desk, and side wall with sit stand desk. Reverse main wall all loaded with mine and with family’s. Art 🖼️

Man, as always, you do an incredible job with your desk setup! Shoutout to ByteReview for assisting you. I'm not an expert in design so I have no critique of what you've done, but your setup is what I dream of building in the future. The dark paint color you chose for the wall behind your desk is absolutely 🔥🔥 and makes all the LED lights pop. It's really unfortunate that the Spotify Car Thing is being discontinued. I believe there's a class action lawsuit against Spotify because of it and they're apparently willing to refund everyone who purchased it. Great job with the cable management! I know how annoying it can get to hide those things. That mechanical keyboard of yours looks and sounds 😩. Keep up the good stuff while I go play some Nintendo Wii!

18:45 A quick and easy solution: get a 3-5mm drill, put a hole through one of the holders, and zip tie the bar in place (if it bothers you enough.) Sucks that it won't stay with the provided materials, but this could be a great fix for the in between.

I drank the Kool-Aid and ordered the Grovemade shelf unit. Order came fast enough and well packed. When I took it out of the box, I saw some styrophone which I assumed was for packing. Turned out the styrophone was the actual legs for the desk shelf. The top is made of stacked plywood with a real oak veneer. Add the metal shelf in the mix and the unit was close to $600 with tax and shipping. To say I was underwhelmed is an understatement. I do not understand the rave reviews on every YouTube office makeover. How in the world can this mediocre unit be worth so much? On top of that my 32" dual monitors felt so high that I had my head cocked like I was sitting too close in a theater watching a movie. Uncomfortable for sure. I tried to accept my fate but could not comprehend what I received vs the cost. Didn't see the value. Didin't see the need for the premium price. To add the icing to my crumb cake, I decided to return the unit less than 24 hours after receiving it. I carefully boxed it up and took it to a UPS store to ship it back and get a refund. First mistake, Grovemake does not provide a return label. The unit has to be returned at my cost. I hated the unit so much, I decided it was worth the cost. Did not even hesitate. To my dismay, the cost to ship it back to Portland, Oregon from Chicago was $116. Yowza!! Second mistake, I was already out the $35 original shipping charge and now will lose $150 total for the priveledge of trying a medicre product. Don't believe the hype. The product is mediocre and you will never feel it is worth close to $600 with the extra overpriced $160 mid-tray. Skip it. Plenty of DIY videos on YouTube. Spread the word.
