my cousins had two experiences out in public with a 10 foot tall one, hunched over with very long fingers, solid black, ran around extremely fast and silent. Had green glowing eyes and banged on a fence and made a physical impact noise when it did. Stood in a creek and stared at them for a while. This happened at our local skatepark on Halloween night two years in a row. After the first encounter they came home freaking out so their mother separated them and made them draw what they saw to make sure they weren't high or anything. Their pictures were identical. Hearing about this experience blew my mind and Instantly woke me up and sent me on a research journey that I am still on today.

I had a mist encounter in the daytime. Thick smoke came out from my mom's mouth. It was thick like a big candle was just put out. My mom didnt see it, and thats even more terrifying for me. I was genuinely freaked out and can't stop thinking about it.

I have his book A Walk In The Shadows. I have had encounters with these shadow creatures. I still remember when I was a little kid. I believe I was about 5 years old, or younger when I woke up in the middle of the night to what I would describe as, many pitch black snakes over my body over the blanket. I freaked out, and stood on top of the bed and my grandmother picked me up when she heard me screaming for help, and took me to another room to sleep for the rest of the night. But even in the other room, before falling asleep, I remember a big shadow spider crawling down the wall, and I just put my bedsheets over my head and fell asleep the rest of the night.

I saw these guys with my eyes closed. Black on black. I don't understand how! It looked like higher selves sitting on a couch watching us like tv/video game. One of them waved at me!

I have had a visit from the hooded shadow type. Awoke early dawn to it standing at the foot of my bed. It didn't do anything else and disappeared, I never saw them again. At the age of 16 I was awakened with a pressure on my chest, I could not scream or move, terrifying. Shook me up for a long time.

I have a friend who reported to me seeing a rainbow being every night walk into his room as he was falling asleep.. He said it would walk up to him and if he closed his eyes, it would reset back into the doorway and start walking towards him again. It would continue until he let it get to him. It would touch his forehead with its hand and he would fall asleep. He said this happened for months.

I've never seen a shadow person or had sleep paralysis, thank God. The closest was when I was alone in my house. Footsteps were very loud coming in my direction. I prayed to Jesus and it stopped. I am 100% sure nobody was with me.

I have actually come face 2 face with a shadow person. His appearance looked cgi and he was a black cloud. He grinned at me as if to say hi and even gave a wave. My reaction wasn't 2 good. It freaked me out.

I catch them out of peripheral vision all the time. They must be scared to let a man view them. I feel unexpected depressive and oppressive feelings at times for no reason and sometimes emotional distress along with anxiety and panic attacks and i feel these demonic beings are causing it. If it wasnt for Gods grace i probably would of never made it to 58 years old. God deliver us all in Jesus Name Amen +

Dark, blacker then black shadow (shorter, but didn't necessarily get a child vibe) peek in the front porch window at me. Just leaned and peeked and gone. Didn't get an evil vibe. Like they left because they didn't expect me to see them. Clear as day in my mind, many years later. Always have been curious to who they were or why they were there.

I think all the points made are valid here. I also believe for me at least sometimes an entity shows up as a shadow because of the way our brain self edits. It's the whole thing about how, if we took in all the information in our environment we'd barely be able to function. So as we set into patterns in our daily lives or brain cuts out the things it feels aren't relevant from our perception and even ads information for confirmation bias. This means if we're seeing something way outside what we expect in our environment (like a ghost or an interstellar being) to save us the shock, our brain edits out the parts most disturbing to us. Or if the being knows it might be a shock it can choose to edit how it's perceived for us.

I've had many experience with this phenomenon. Strange, fantastic and sometimes frightening.

I have a friend who caught one on her cameras… it set them off and she thought it was her dogs while she was at work and instead there was a pic of a shadow figure!

I have seen one several times. They have red eyes. They usually run away through the wall but, one did run through an open door and the door slammed behind it. Every time I have seen one it has scared me really badly.

Those photos were really interesting! You got more evidence than Ghost Adventures. I've had my own experiences with these all kinds. I've seen solid, black grey and even white. I was harassed by a swirly black cloudy man shaped one in a basement apartment. I found out later the man killed himself earlier. Nice of them to warn me after I moved in😢.

Maybe the Hat Man needs his head covered to hide his horns, and his coat to hide his wings.

I use to see them as a child . When we moved I never saw them again. Your description of the shadow person, with no facial features is exactly like mine. They never touched me but would come into my bedroom at night, walk up to my bed and just look at me.

I saw one once. In daylight. It was around 10 am I think, on a sunny morning. I had never heard of shadow people at that time. a solid black adult male figure. No facial features or hair or clothes or anything. Just solid black. Also, I was not asleep I was awake, had been awake for a while. For a couple hours. It was able to move objects.

My family grew up with them (and a lot more) in one way or another. I've seen more shadow cats than people and felt nothing bad. My daughter sees shadow men with the tiny sparks for eyes like in the Jim Jones video clip. They're not good she says. We watched a humanoid being walk past the living room who was made up of mirror like glass and shine that moved and swirled everywhere at once as he casually walked by. We could see his whole outline filled in with all that glistening movement. I don't know why but we assumed he was from a totally different dimension than most others and we didn't think he knew we could see him.
