Pakistan election: Nawaz Sharif says he will seek to form coalition

First he claimed victory, but now Pakistan's former prime minister Nawaz Sharif says he will seek to form a coalition government after independent candidates linked to his jailed rival won more seats in Thursday's election.

Imran Khan was ousted as prime minister in 2022, jailed for corruption, and his party was barred from running. But with most results in, candidates he backs have won 95 seats compared to 66 for Nawaz Sharif, who was in prison for corruption himself during the last election.

According to form 45 PTI has won above 170 seats from all over Pakistan. 104 seats in Punjab, 42 seats in KP, 21 seats in Sindh, 4 seats in Balochistan, 3 seats in Islamabad. They have changed figures in form 47 from where it is announced by ECP

Yes, it is true that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf did a clean sweep across the country, but the Election Commission has been rigging it for 2 days. If they have not done so, then the courts should hear the case of those in Form 45 and give justice.
