I just love how the design of this computer is done, except for the keyboard (which has water coating), all parts are easily accessible, and can be exchanged by anyone, without the risk of breaking any parts. You just need to open the bottom cover and get access to all parts.

I have already upgraded the memory ssd. and now I'm going to change the keyboard. All very easily.


With videos like this everything becomes even easier.

I think I will consider build design as a purchasing factor in my future notebooks.

My F510UA has the same inside as this S510. Thanks a lot for the tutorial. It is very clear. However, you replace the keyboard together with the case. Could you guide how to replace only the keyboard component? Thanks.

Hi! This is a great vid!! I tried following this then cleaned the fan as well using a brush. After returning back all the parts and the cover, it did not turn on. Any tips on how to fix this? When i clicked the power button, the screen blinked. After that, no more signs of power. Even when i plugged the charger, no lights turned on. Hope you u can help, i really do not know what to do. I cannot go out because of the the pandemic since our are is under lockdown. Thanks! Again, awesome video!!
