I'm with both of you. The Thor seemed to fit all of my needs. I liked the dinette in the Thor best.

I plan on full time living and I don't want slides. That coachmen seems really nice for what I want

I agree with you and Susan...the Thor Chateau was probably the best all around Class C with RV and a bit more affordable. If money was not an issue, then yes the Winnie for sure. Thanks for sharing!

I love Winnebago. The Murphy bed is made better. The Thor was gorgeous too! Thanks for a great review.👍

I like the Winnebago but it's pricey. The Thor is, as you said, overall the best.

Thor by far is my favorite unit. Overall design, color scheme, comfy dinette booth, large deep kitchen sink, adjustable cabinet shelving, second tv nook with countertop area and nice sized bathroom area except the sink was rather small.
Although the Winnebago had many nice features along the kitchen side, the downside was the dining area. I’m not fond of the U-shaped booth and narrow table. 🚌

I really liked the 2nd one. It has room for a large dog and he can move around in that space to a degree that he doesn't feel squashed. You could also just give the dog the Murphy bed b/c that top bunk has a TV, room for two in a pinch, charging ports and a window. I liked that it felt bigger & was glamorous with the price tag being $70k less then the top one and $22k more than the first which would be AWESOME for more than 1 dog. Then as I age further it would be awesome to have a bedroom on the ground floor & still have a living room. I would have to think of what to use the top space for then. Perhaps a closet for seasonal things behind and have plants near the sun rays coming from the window up there. The TV would already be in position to see from dinette area. You never know what will happen in the future and this is good know to have in case.
I do although have 2 paid off cars & only 1 is in weekly use. I also have basically a 800 square foot home paid off that is on a half acre lot with a 16ftX8ftX4ft swimspa on a dedicated cement pad & Electrical box. It is a awesome Jacuzzi on one end and has 5 different types of waves to swim against and at different strengths. The other MAIN 2 reasons I stay in this state of CA is the on going sale of Marijuana & I really like the nature and other laws that this state goes on beyond to stop. Someone once told me that I already live in a "tiny home" and 1 that has been customized to ME. I guess I would have to agree after living here already for 17 yrs. LOL

I'll take the first one. Hate slides. Take that Murphy bed out...make a great office with private entrance. Thanks

Seriously? Winnebago all the way. Storage behind the tv (paper towel feeder back there), soft close drawers (I chuckled at the Thor cabinet door that clearly wasn’t staying closed), extra table to go in front of the sofa or up front between chairs….someday when we downsize from a Class A, the View will be high on our consideration list. I do wish you would review or mention tank sizes and especially the NCCC’s of these units…that’s where the Wayfarer falls short.

Boy this is tough because I liked all three of them! The Winnebago was absolutely beautiful. Clearly a very high quality and well-made unit. And the fact that it's on a Mercedes-Benz chassis doesn't hurt and I'm sure significantly contributes to the high price tag. The Thor was very nice as well and I absolutely agree with Susan that I liked that light, white interior. And I think Thor makes a good quality product as well. I did like the large bathroom as well as the kitchen counter space in the Thor. But I think for my needs I'm going to have to vote for The Coachman. And it was for the same reason you said you liked it Mike; it was that storage. It gives you a bit of atoy hauler experience without having to have a 30+ ft long Class C. In my case, I am disabled from a stroke and would have to travel with either a power scooter or an electric wheelchair in order to get around. I only have the use of one arm, so I would not be able to physically mount a scooter or a wheelchair to the back of a Class C. I would need to definitely put together some type of ramp to be able to push it up into the cargo area to carry it along. And the fact that you get tie-down straps is an absolute bonus. I would definitely not want to be driving along and have my scooter or wheelchair come flying to the front if I had to come to a quick stop. Again all three of them are terrific units and each has some unique features that gives them a bit of an advantage over each of the other ones. I did think the bathrooms were nice and all three of them and I thought it was nice that all three of them had the built-in track for the shower curtain. That definitely makes it much easier to work with than just having a shower curtain hang down. Mike I don't know if you were being completely honest about the Thor, however. I think you really liked it best because it had an oven for you to bake your🍕! 😂 Happy Thanksgiving, Susan & Mike and thanks for all your great videos!

You had me at "no slideout". 220XG for the win! We have a 21QB Freelander with a similar floor plan (just no murphy bed), and love it. It would be hard for me to trade the HUGE traditional fixed under-bed storage for this internal storage. The benefit I see for the rear door/murphy bed is for hard-sided kayaks. Bikes should stay on a rear rack.

The Coachman has them best floor plan and storage options for my full-time needs but not then quality coming from an Airstream trailer. It needs a 3-way fridge as in the Thor. Including the Winnebago combo range top of 1 propane burner and an infrared cooktop would solve my current configuration of a free standing cooktop placed on a board over the three burner closed propane. Unfortunately it's hard to get everything in one package without modifications.
Thanks for the video reviews.

Great video with lots of information. I’m 6’3” tall and I know that Class C have a tight cabin. Can you please comment on your future videos on how comfortable or not is the cabin. Thanks

As much as I love the finish in the Winnebago 24D, the Thor Chateau 25M is my favourite
