Robert (the bung) Jenrick says he doesn't want people risking their lives. If that's the case, they could set up a processing centre in Calais tomorrow. He won't do it. They can also process claims in other countries too. They won't do it because it's not in the tories' interest to have a functioning asylum system. All they want to do is talk about the issue until the election because they have messed up the health service, slashed wages, and destroyed public services.

How many have woken up to the realisation that the importation of immigrants, by whatever means is not only government policy but global policy. I would direct your attention to the policy of the EU and the US.

Allocate £1.5 billion of the £3 billion budget currently being used to house and feed illegal immigrants in hotels towards providing additional funding for the UK Coast Guard. This will enable the Coast Guard to effectively prevent illegal immigrants from entering UK waters.
