I don't know how but this amazing song strength my resolve 10 times higher to beat this fight without getting any kids sacrificed during my first playthrough. Still remember vividly that Jeanne just won't shut it about soul cannon whenever Taranis' HP drop too low, just shut up already Jeanne, you cannot make me, either they all survive or gone as a group as a family. No one deserved to be left behind after what they had been through.

Such a powerful song:

I've always imagined Jeanne singing this during the final battle, the song acting as both a message of hope and a final goodbye to the children.

It fits boss battles in such a weird way so so well because, why the hell are kids forced fighting for their lives and family in a super weapon and you have to make sure they don't die

One thing CC2 does in many of their games that I adore is musical dissonance. You will have intense, emotional battles accompanied by melancholic music that would be more fitting for a quiet dramatic scene. A perfect example of this is in Asuras Wrath, when Asura goes completely berserk about halfway through the game.

I never thought there'd be another Little Tail Bronx game.

I suppose that different folks different strokes, but I cannot imagine how people having played the game and having heard a fair share of tracks including this one can somehow say that the music is "bland", "jRPG bog standard" or "forgettable".

No time that I heard this track I did not feel both tension and excitement; the worry creeping as I did my darnedest to stay away from even being remembered that the Soul Cannon exists; and the joy of feeling the battle tiding in my favor before shutting down the enemy.

Still, makes me wonder what kind of music people expect in certain games these days.

The funniest thing about how I discovered this game (and subsequently the Little Tail Bronx universe) is that I'm furry trash and thus I lean towards media with anthropomorphic characters, but most importantly, I was intrigued as of why this game had French as the only dub.
That aside, it was good, amazing even. I'm on my way to play previous games of the series.
