Otis Series 1 Mod! Traction Elevators at Liberty Building, Greenville, SC

This is a RARE Series 1 mod. Originally built in 1924, these were modded in the 70s or 80s by General and again by Otis in the 90s or 2000s with Series 1. I love the Made to look old CJ Anderson call stations with the Series 2 buttons retrofitted in them!!!

Glad you went in there. I often wonder what these buildings and elevator systems are like in my hometown. But you all are much braver than me to go in these business buildings!

The Hall stations were actually made by CJ Anderson to look vintage. You can tell by the font. Same with the Dials

You can deffinetly tell that’s an older elevator based on the call button.

The second elevator has a floor passing chime that doesn’t sound too well.
