About Astro Entertainment Network:
Astro Entertainment Network is the Malaysia’s largest pay-television service ASTRO began operations in 1996 with just 22 channels. It has since expanded its broadcasts of local, regional, and international programming to over 125 channels, available to nearly 3 million households across Malaysia and Brunei (as of 2008). As more television channels were added and genres created, a more cohesive structure was needed. A fresh new look was needed for the overall branding of ASTRO’s eight core channels – AEC, Ceria, Prima, Ria, SuperSport, TVIQ, Vaanavil, and Wah Lai Toi.
