i was like 4 years old or five when the "old" world was the standard and i do remember, good times, just playing and relaxing creating houses with 2 blocks of height, trying to mine blocks with creepers and struggling to create the leather armour

Old world types have been around for a very long time. One time I even destroyed the entirety of the world in survival. It took a long time, but it's only 256 x 256 with 128 as the height limit I think. Shifting doesn't work around the edges in the sense of making you not fall, so you're still slow

Fun fact : If you change the settings of *Old World* to *Infinite* you'll see the borders of Old world and the Infinite world in one world (Bedrock Only)
