nice idea but i wonder how it truly feels and works in the field, vs using a long pair of needle nose pliers/etc? Or you can always braze short pieces of rod together into a long one. Makes good practice too, helps knocks off the RUSTY brazing skills when winter is over and its early spring/cooling season starts! lol
