Doom took down so many marvel characters and somehow loses to some guns and rift beacons…

He was made out to be a massive threat and somehow lost to us despite him having the power of Pandora.

The cutscene was cool though.

Doom should’ve won, they built him up as this looming threat that was really strong and then it took 50 minutes to defeat him, doom should’ve won here and then we’d finally defeat doom in the live event rumoured to be at the end of the season

So let me get this straight:
Doom defeated all the strongest avengers, all the Fantastic 4 and GALACTUS ALL BY HIMSELF and he just lost to some shitty weapons that fail to 1 shot a normal player lol, yeah totally makes sense

it was incredibly underwhelming. i missed part of a funeral for a glorified overworld boss.
Doctor Doom, the man who killed Galactus, Ultron, the Avengers, Doctor Strange, Silver Surfer, and Thanos. The man who keeps the Human Torch's burning heart as a fireplace, the Invisible Woman's invisible body as a decoration, Reed Richards as a rubber band ball, and reshaped The Thing into a throne.
This insanely powerful near-god (who for some reason did less damage than a grey tactical shotgun and moved slower than a dyslexic hamster on a keyboard) was just taken out by some nobody with a vibranium frisbee.
If this is what I should come to expect from live events, then I don't want any live events ever again. I'd rather have a well-made 10 minute cutscene over a slow moving bullet sponge who the writers don't truly understand.

It was a good event however downsides are the health and we had the same looped dialogue over and over when hope is saying “ more weapon supplies inbound” and Hope the hero saving Jonsey

I feel like this should’ve probably been the chapter 5 season 4 end event even if it kinda is. What I’m tryna say here is, this should’ve been at the end of the season and not today. If I had full control over this, I would’ve made it so that we try to defeat doom and then we lose. Doctor Doom could’ve literally just destroyed our island and sent us to chapter 2.

Let's not forget about the fact that doom has Pandora's power with him still as he's rifted away, so if we won't see doom for a while, perhaps we'll see him for yet another Fortnite season or event when Avengers Doomsday or Avengers Secret Wars movies is around the corner and we face doom one final time. Remember this is 616 Doom the MCU is Universe 616, Just like the comic i prefer what sony calls MCU, Earth 19999) So I'm sure we'll see Doom during Doomsday or secret wars.
