While the M5 Competition can produce 625hp & 750Nm, while the M550i may have exactly the same engine, but it only puts down 530hp & 750Nm.

As for the tuned M5 - well that engine’s been custom built so that it now produces a ludicrous 1,000hp & 1,100Nm of torque!!

M550 is the way to go.. its fast, fun, and more than streetable enough to drive every single day. I just drove one and fell in love.

You know, every time I watch these, I'm in awe at how good Matt has gotten at launching these performance cars. Even when he's in a lesser car, he still manages to get off quicker than the others regardless of them catching up after.
