If I’m being honest, just got trident rod, and I already have enough to get the new rod, the problem is that u have to get 2 relics to open the thing then complete a maze while on a timer, if you die you have to get the relics again, the only downside to the trident is that its max kg is rly low, preventing you from getting some rly good fish, but you can just use reinforced, or steady, but I haven’t used the new rod yet, I will come back when I have!

EDIT: Definitely worth the new rod, it had a lot of everything, but the only down side is the cash and the relics, however your friends can help you get that and in most fish servers there are free giveaways! So if you can get the rod go for it! However in my opinion getting this rod will be very difficult without trident rod so shoot for that before going for ROTD

Depths is op but its so expensive and difficult to get since u need two relics that is mutated
I forgot the mutation u need on the enchant relica

Trident has a slash ability that can stop the fish momentarily so it has more resilience

I have rotd enchanted with Quantum and fish in northern expedition and got 400k+ in 4 nights which is 100k+ each night (but you have to use seaweed or ur cooked)

Trident is in desolate deep, and you have to complete its entire bestiary, which is extremely difficult and then you must use five enchant relics to open the secret chamber where the rod is located, and its price is somewhere from 100k to 200k, i dont exactly remember. Rotd is found in the depths, which is unlocked by completing the entire vertigo bestiary inside of a strange whirlpool, which i think is much easier than desolate deep, finnaly inside the depths you must use a "hexed" enchant relic and "abyssal" enchant relic to open an underwater maze to finnaly purchase the rotd for a staggering 750k €

I think rod of the depth is slightly better but i would go for tident since it is extremely good and has a sort of cheap price
