18-19 is not the worldwide age of a legal adult. Many places have 18 as legal adults, but that's not everywhere. The internet is worldwide. In some countries, 15 is considered an adult, and in other places, you are not an adult until you're 25... The average age for a person to be considered to have a brain that is done maturing/developing is about 27. That being said, 18 and 19 are 2/7 (28.57%) of a teenage span. 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 are 5/7 (71.43%). So, in the parts of the world that 18 and 19 are considered adults, a teenager is a child over the majority of the teenage span.
An 18 and 19 year old are not considered an adult, because they are not mature (brain development wise) enough to be an adult. Those defending that original comment are as weird as that original comment. You're sketchy.
