Had a lot of fun revisiting this track, I first learnt this track in full after maybe a year of studying it, when I was 14 years old. At that time, when I had only been playing a few years, this was the track I always aspired to learn properly, up to speed and crystal clear at some point in my life.

I also remember certain parts of the song I would spend hours on, as a young teenager, becoming frustrated everyday, that I couldn't play it like MAB. Filming this video revealed to me what at the time I never thought was possible, that those frustrations and moments where I thought I would never pick fast, be able to navigate through certain scales as I please, have now become my strengths - and yet again proven to me that only time, patience and consistency stand in the way of your goals, and those things we all have, of course some more than others.

Because of you, I just spent 3 hours learning that major 7 arpeggio section at now my wrist is in agony lol. Managed to get it on time to around 120 BPM, but gets a bit sloppy after that and I find myself using hammer ons, instead of clean left hand has the speed, right hand struggles at full speed due to the tricky inside picking required to keep it super I reckon I'll have this nailed soon though, after my wrist surgery lol. I then tried the tapping at the outro, that was a big mistake - wanted to amputate my wrist - this will take much longer - technique is ok, stretches like this I ain't done in years, but needs absolute memorisation to play that bit - which is where I struggle :) - I appreciate more and more how much effort you must have put into this !!!!

You are a hero... It's nice to see someone finally play the SpeedKills opening and the original track from the album without all of that nonsense showboating MAB does in every video he's ever recorded.

I especially enjoyed watching the outro with your own fancy twist at the end! My only complaint if I made one would be that your guitar tone did lack compared to how meaty the backing riffs felt; but when you display the entire track so fluidly for everyone to enjoy unlike literally everyone else who has ever played this piece on a camera (including MAB himself) we literally cannot complain.

Tramaine, thanks for including your narrative along with the video, I totally appreciate the background on the goal you had to to do this to a level of your ultimate approval. Wielding incredible skill, technique and touch, developed over a lifetime by sheer grit, persistence, determination and absolutely relentless precision is what I see as well in this performance! The opening measure of this masterpiece always inspires in me a perspective limitlessness and potential all on its own. Stellar job on the entire project through! The original and cover of this track should be in the halls of fame somewhere - without a doubt!!!
