The first thing Draco warns her about after their wedding is that "Malfoys don't cry".
Y/n's confused but agrees to the abnormal rule.
Y/n and Draco are so in love that it affects both their assistance to the dark lord and so, Voldemort brutally tortures Draco and kills him in front of her as a warning that the same thing might happen to her if she doesn't start being more loyal to Voldemort.
She casually remains silent whilst crying a river inside and staring at Draco's pale face laying on the ground.
Bellatrix (who was there when this all happened)asks her "how come you're not sad?"
She replies, remembering her promise to her late husband, "CAUSE MALFOYS DON'T CRY!"
