Also helps to know why my girlfriend always send me pictures of her groceries . I’ve really learned to have patience when she turns on Viber, props the phone up in the corner of the kitchen and starts banging pots and pans together for a half an hour.

PS, contacted Viet embassy in DC and requested a 1 year visa. Filled out paperwork and PayPal’d them $125.00. He actually called me and requested that I call back next week for status. Now I have a FedEx envelope from them, on the way to me.

If I had a vandalism felony arrest in the US back in 2019 which I was never convicted for (the charge was dismissed) will that hurt my chances of getting a marriage TRC or 5 year visa exemption if I were married to my Vietnamese girlfriend, who intends to stay in Vietnam and wants me to be there with her? Or could I just simply furnish a criminal record from my country of citizenship [Taiwan, where I have no arrest record] and not need to provide the US one?

I heard from some people if I lived in Vietnam for 6 months, I just need to provide a Vietnam criminal record check.
