We will talk about how to prepare for the interview, what you need to bring with you as well as questions to ask during the interview process and how you follow up afterwards. Questions to Ask during an Interview
What is your turnover rate? Reason for your last hygienist leaving?
What do you expect of your hygienist?
How many patients do you see per day?
How much time do you give for an appointment? Child prophy _______ Adult prophy _______ S&RP_______ Perio maintenance ________New patients______
Can I see what your schedule looks like?
Who is in charge of sterilization?
Who is in charge of radiographs?
What happens if a patient cancels? Does your hygienist have to clock out?
What side work is there for hygiene?
Are there any performance evaluations? If so how often?
When can I get potential raises?
Is there holiday pay?
PTO available?
What support systems do you offer?
What do you do to create a sense of community among your team?
How many hygienist do you have?_________ How many assistants do you have?_________ How many front office members do you have? _________
Do you offer CE courses? Do you help pay towards any CE courses? Is there a stipend for uniforms?
