This is very good information. The problem is the insurance company. They don’t usually approve new medications. They want you to go with generic drugs.

I get about 1-2 migraines a month, I tried sumitriptan and did not like the way it made feel... in addition to not really working for me, and reading the included documentation that came with the medication scared me to the point that I never wanted to take them again, i'd rather just deal with the migraine... family history of heart attack, high blood pressure is just too scary for me... This particular medication intrigues me though. The only concern is the serotonin syndrome, which sounds like it could be a less of a concern due to my rate of attacks. I don't know, I'm definitely following up on this though.

Anything that works on serotonin receptors is a no go for me, I plan on studying that receptor when my headache goes away but anything that plays with my serotonin receptors makes it worse so yeah, hopefully CGRP works for me
