Most star players have a step back. But if you look at KD, he literally steps into the defenders face. KD has a stepup. Obviously, the best are the best. But what makes KD so unique, especially with that step up, is that he literally T's off the hand in his face to gauge his shot. In other words, KD uses the hand in his face to make himself more accurate. Most big time shooters (like Curry, Kyrie, Harden, Tatum etc.) Dribble to avoid the hand, created space. But KD uses the hand in his face to create advantage for himself, and THAT'S one of the main reasons he's such a proficient scorer.

Clearly he is a Glitch.. wingspan..handle.. height.. and Shooting touch but what fascinates me is his patience.. this in my opinion was his most polished season.. he seemed calm controlled fully aware of his capabilities and IQ as to how to execute...🔥
