This is the June 11, 2018 FULL EPISODE of VICE News Tonight on HBO.

2:01 President Trump started his visit to the NATO summit exactly as you'd expect: by trashing an ally. The U.S. pays the greatest share of its GDP to NATO, and he's not the first president to complain about that.

7:25 A father and his three-year-old son were separated at the United States-Mexico border after attempting to cross legally into the U.S. This week, they were reunited. VICE News was there for their first moments back together.

10:43 Kentucky Law banning radiologist from diagnosing black lung goes into effect on July 14. Black Lung, a disease associated with America's industrial past, is making a comeback in parts of Eastern Kentucky and Western Virginia

17:55 - Amtrak doesn't own or control the vast majority of the tracks it operates.

21:07 Zedd visits VICE News to review new music in this installment of music critic.

12:08 TF.. a lung transplant is a average 1.2mil, in that's the only cure. WTF are these people still working there for?

How horrible for the workers and their families. They should be financially compensated and their medical bills paid by the company for failing to maintain a safe working environment. My prayers are with the victims.

If your child is traumatized perhaps entering a country legally will assist his well being? On the other hand, Black Lung is a real problem. The disease kills and bankrupts the coal mine workers. Which problem do you think warrants assistance?

I'm pretty sure every coal miner knows the risk... no one forces them to mine coal. They do the job because it pays good.

Trump has a U.S. first agenda? Hmm thats really strange! It's almost like he is the president of the U.S and wants the best for his country and people first. Very strange indeed

Don't they give them some kind of breathing apparatus??im so confused I didn't see any of them wearing anything like that.
I worked at a shitty ass concrete factory when I was younger and they were all over that kinda shit.whats up with the coal industry?they have got to have more money than folks making cement and we had protective gear.they paid for all of it too.like 200 dollar steel toe boots and shit.all kinds of stuff was provided.

The music reviews at the end are literally the worst. Get rid of that segment.

While I go and read some comments I think its something how ppl turn a illness that has been around longer than half the ppl on here has been alive. I am from the area they speak about. There is not one neighbor, family or town that hasn't been affected. No not from weed. No not from trump, but yes from coal. Coal is what helped build this great country and helped shape south eastern ky, southwest va, northern tn and west va. Our great grand fathers grand father and fathers like mine went everyday and slaved and made that honest living and the stuff about the Drs is true...but what they leave out is if a Dr over here on the left tells u, u have black lung there a lawyer on the right saying no your not sick enough so 80 to 95 percent of the coal miners who wait years just to get the littlest compensation will die before they do. Ppl in my area Southwest 's has to travel most of the time hrs just to see a black lung specialist toting their air tanks with them but the down side theses areas needs the coal. If you look up just a few towns/countys like Wise county va, Buchanan county va, Huntington wva, letcher county ky u will see...when ppl took the coal away they took our towns too.
