Dual wield is definitely my defensive go to. The ability to parry mid swing allows you to play more aggressively with a lot less risk if you have the timing off

To make up for the loss in defense, make double blafe your second stance. It can parry all shots, and is great for crowd control.

My favorite stances are the Dual Wield and the Double Blade. The Dual Wield was a lifesaver when fighting Dagan. Pro tip: to counter the orbiting lightsaber attack, hold down y or triangle to activate Force Parry, which will immediately stop the annoying orbiting lightsaber attack when hit. Side Note: Force Parry uses force energy, so remember to have force energy when Dagan activates his orbiting lightsaber attack

While not as effective as the Double Bladed, Dual Wield can still put in some work against ranged enemies with the split shot skill, that plus the block cancel passive and you can basically go full close range while also doing chip damage against the other enemies by parrying blasts inbetween hits
