Normally in TF2 the attacker has a snowball effect due to have shorter spawn timers but in OW2 the attacker has longer timers (if it shares push spawn timers) so I’m bit worried if it creates a extremely long game mode that take forever for one side to win.

TF2 players don't even like 5cp. I've been saying SINCE DAY ONE that they needed to have spawns like TF2 5CP for their 2CP maps. We'll see if it works. It all depends on the map. I don't like New Junk City, but I like Seravasa. Still don't like Push though

Its what the push mode seems like it shouldve been. A game mode with an actual attack and defense and not a mode where you either roll or get rolled with no chance of a comeback

I missed this on the live stream so maybe this is answered; how does overtime work? I actually thought this could be a game mode long before this, but OT is the kryptonite. Every game mode in OW gives the possibility for the losing team to win, after time has expired, if they keep killing the enemy and stay on the objective. So let's say you're losing and the enemy team is pushing on point 'E'. You win the last fight in overtime, and they don't cap. Does time expire and you lose the game, with the enemy team having more points captured, because you weren't on point 'D'? It seems weird because there's two objectives that could trigger OT. The enemy is triggering it by fighting on point 'E', but if you win that team fight as a defender you'd need to be on point 'D' to extend it? Then that becomes a problem again if you keep winning team fights in OT, take control of 'D', and need to then take control of 'C' (which you wouldn't be on at the time you re-take 'D') to win the game with 3 points captured? The game couldn't possibly add time to the clock, as games could effectively be endless.

Besides from TF2, there was an online game I used to play when I was a kid called Ghost Recon Phantoms. This was one of the main game modes if not the principal mode of the whole game (it was a long time ago so I can't remember correctly but, at least, this was one of the main gamemodes). Watching this on the panel brought back so many good memories of my childhood, wish I could play that game again (servers closed a long time ago)

Flats you're thinking of conquest, you can capture and hold 5 points and recap them if they get captured by the enemy team. Rush is the one where you can only go one way and you have to defend each point from getting captured
