The print sales are actually a kind of a kickoff for our Northwest Passage project. After the end of August we should hopefully be busy dodging icebergs and polar bears in Greenland so I won't have the time to keep up with the webstore, and that's one of the reasons for doing just a limited-time run ;) Have a look at art.alluringarctic.com and I hope you find one you like!

The aesthetics of this video are sublime.

Winter in that forest ? Beaching a boat in a really shallow inlet? Absolutely BEAUTIFUL

At first I already thought: This is EPIC.
Then, the drone shots came in
Then, you went paddle boarding.
Then, you went SKIING?
What more can I ask for? It just kept on getting better!!

A lot of people go backpacking or live in a van and post it on YouTube. Not a lot of people do this. Thank you for showing us the beautiful sights!

What a life. As a US Naval sailor, I've always wanted to return to the open sea but never had the chance. This cures my aches.

You were brave parking that thing on the Grizzly's feeding ground within paws reach.

As someone who has lived in the Yukon winter and sailed in British Columbia, as well as a Colorado Rockies skiers, what you two are doing is pretty amazing. Calculating the tides and marking it well. Smart and kind people to follow in this world. Thank you for this.

You truly are a very tough couple with a broad scope of capabilities. I'm glad that you exist, because I HATE cold weather, but I LOVE the breathtaking beauty of the place you went. Thanks to you, I can enjoy the beauty and wonder of that place and your adventures from the comfort of my home. You did such amazing camera work and took gorgeous pictures. You should be proud of yourself.

Just when one thought a vlog could not get any better this comes along...sublime.
This is on so many levels very professional. The fantastic work on camera angles allowing the viewer to imagine they are there: at the same time telling a story without endless and repetitive narrative. Sohvi says so much by saying so little which is so refreshing to find on vlogs.
Really the scenery is so spectacular and your drone shots of the vessel in such isolation are mesmerising. With such a high standard of filming just demonstrates why narrative and music are not only not required but an annoying distraction. Looking forward to the north west passage.
Many thanks for you hard work in producing this.

Lifelong outdoorsman here. Sailor, bc snowboarder, surfer, base jumper, bow hunter you name it... This video is next level. The logistics are mind-boggling, tides, weather, avvy problem, topo mapping etc. Living the dream. Alaska is incredible, my most memorable experience was touring around Thompson Pass. Keep the adventures alive, you got a new sub.

A beached boat during a snowstorm sounds like cozyness overload.

It's great to see people with lifting centerboard/swing keels actually showing the capabilities of these vessels! 😄👍👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

“Its so nice to sit on a very sharp rock” seems like such a lovely Finish way to express joy. Lovely channel to stumble across, looking forward to the north west passage,

Just randomly came across this channel and I'm blown away. I thought this guy is crazy to think he can put his boat there. Then I was surprised it worked and how it just stayed there. Impressive channel.

The sense of adventure and fact that you are both so in tune with each other on your life adventure is simply amazing on so many different fronts. I am sure the off camera parts have a level of anxiety and anticipation but overall good on both of you for sharing what lesser people would ever try. Thanks again

I like these people so much, mostly because they are joyfully (basically) going after something extraordinary they really desire despite the risks and because they demonstrate such skill and grace and good humor as well.

The two of you work together to do manouvers many sailors never try. Impressive

I've faced enough life/death situations in the ocean to not really want to have anything to do with sailing and small boats but thank you for letting me live vicariously through this video.
