You can screw something like a (Pithy Bikes) ahead cap on top of the handle to keep it from sliding off the reamer square, also a nice touch though. ;-) Simple but great work as always. Cheers, Ben

Nice handle! When I made mine I found that 3/4 16 gauge square tube which I had around was a pretty good loose fit. So I welded that onto the handle (more of the same tube) and then tapped in a couple of shims at the sides (probably 1mm sheet metal). Worked out pretty good and I just leave the handle attached to the reamer permanently.

Don't let any machinist see you tack weld a reamer, they might ream you for it. :)
This handle design is ancient, btw. I think you can find it even in the Modern Mechanix website in one of the magazines.

Did you use pla filament? PLA 3D printed objects will deform when there is consistent pressure.

Hi, I would like to make two holes in the seat tube of my bicycle to put a water bottle holder, perhaps using allen bolts + barrel nuts. This is of chromoly 4130, would it be feasible without it cracking in the future? Help pleaseee...
