I can't tell you how many people that are friends of mine that are entrepreneurs work for themselves and a walking around without healthcare cuz they said it's just unaffordable and then one by one something happens and it devastates them financially and several of my friends and associates I've had to file bankruptcy because of medical bills. What a terrible country I live in that lets that happen.

I’m not sure how you guys think any of these liberal policies are going to happen when we really only held both chambers for a couple of years in (at least) the last 50 years? Barely! Many more Dems than you give credit are all for these liberal policies but with the current electoral system and Senators like Manchin and Sinema 🤷🏼‍♀️

I hate it when people say they are centrists like it is either apolitical or somehow common sense politics. It is an ideology, own up to it! Also, "moderation" is a good thing only in health-related categories such as eating/sleeping/exercising in moderation. But there is no such thing as moderate justice, moderate equality, moderate love of one's neighbor, etc. There can never be too much goodness in policy-making. Apart from this kind of centrism-as-the-best-of-both-worlds, there is also the sad fact that self-avowed centrists are really more right-wing than left-wing.
