I'm currently doing grade 11 and I take Economics, Maths Lit, Business and Accounting. I want to go to UCT and I recently found out that I need Pure Maths to make it to the Commerce Faculty. I've been weighing the options I have and I've decided to repeat grade 11 so I can do the Maths that's required. I was also given the option to do Pure Maths in grade 12 next year by my HOD but I'm not sure how well I'll do since the last time I did Pure Maths was in grade 9. It was not an easy decision, repeating a whole grade but I decided to look at it with a different viewpoint. Repeating grade 11 will give me a chance to improve on the subjects I need improvement on (Accounting and Economics). I do however have been slacking because I had this "I'll do this again next year anyways" but your video has changed my mentality. I'm also aiming for 7 distinctions. It's hard but not impossible. I fell in love with the university of Capella Town and I don't imagine myself studying somewhere else that's why I want to work hard. Thank you

1.dont use your teachers calculations
2.always try to simplify the question
3.write down your common mistakes so you do not repeat
4.learn the basics
5.write down all little formulates
6.use simple formulates
7.give reason for every calculations step
8. Know your shapes as well as their properties
9. Do not leave out the hard topics
10.practise with past papers
11.effective study plan
13.be patient with yourself!

l'm currently in grade 10, l used to pass Maths from primary to grade 9 then when l started learning grade 10 Maths it became difficult because of the ways l used to study but thanks to you l have new points. I also use that textbook "maths made easy"😃😃but the only advice I can give to people who struggling with maths is that they must use different textbooks for practice and also the challenging ones to test their understanding
