1:23 That cut to Brian Pillman then back to Jr when he says ''when they see this face'' gave me

This is probably one of the most brilliant introductions of a 2nd generation wrestler Ive seen in WWE

In one promo, we got his backstory, character motivation, goal, and name.

He would be the next guy.

This was by far one of the best promos for 2nd Gen superstar. And also distancing himself from his dad while still acknowledging him. Well done.

Having watched the "Dark Side of the Ring" episode on Brian Pillman, I have to give props to his son, Brian Pillman Jr., for having the strength to give his mom, Melanie, a second chance by restoring their relationship before she passed away. Also, I remember seeing Brian Pillman Jr.'s sister, "Sexy" Lexi Pillman, as a manager on the independent wrestling scene here in the Midwest. Lexi passed away in a car accident in 2009. Just like Charlotte is honoring Reed through her wrestling career, Brian Pillman Jr. is now honoring his two sisters with his WWE run.

This was cool, hands down the best work he's done, I cannot wait for his run, I could see him as NA Champion

For those who don't know, his new name is a tribute to his sisters Alexis Reed and Skylar King. He used a version of this in his wrestling debut in 2017 on the indies.

Omg A single promo gave more credibility and hype to Brian Pillman Jr than the 3 years he was in Aew

This completely went off the rails. I absolutely love this. WOW!! I was not expecting them go that his route. I can only see him just blowing up. I cannot wait to see him in the ring.

They made him look like a star in one vignette. That's way more hype than he ever had when hew was in AEW. Hope he rises to the top.

From an AEW fan, really hoping Pillman gets used properly in NXT. Untapped potential.

Already he’s shown more in that promo than he had in his entire run in AEW combined. They were great at bringing up his father constantly, just to have him get beat up literally every time he was on Dynamite. Happy to see him get this opportunity, looks like WWE may actually try to build him up.

I hope Steve Austin will be involved in Brian's evolution as a WWE talent.

This promo alone is proof tht he'll be far better off in WWE. He put more effort into this than his whole AEW run

Loved this promo... He really is the spitting image of his DAD.

He may denounce his father on script, but he has mannerisms like his father.

was a huge fan of Brian Pillman growing up, became more of one after he died and I saw all of the amazing work he did in his life, so I was really hyped to find out his son got into wrestling

unfortunately he wasn't used to his full potential in AEW, but now that he's in NXT, he can be the man to rule the world

He showed more personality in this promo than he did in all his time in AEW. When I heard he signed with WWE I didn’t care because he bored me but now I’m very interested. This has me hooked now and I’m looking forward to what happens next

That promo accomplished two things: (1) It established the fact another generational wrestling talent is coming (hence the images we saw of Charlotte Flair, Brooks Jensen, The Usos, Solo Sikoa, Von Wagner, Bron Breakker, Randy Orton, & Dominik Mysterio) while (2) also establishing one such generational talent - the son of the late Brian Pillman - choosing to reject his father's legacy and namesake in order to forge his own path in the WWE.
