Inflation Is Crushing The Avg American

The stock market is already a wild ride, but now inflation adds another layer of crazy. One minute my portfolio is soaring, the next it's dropping like a rock. Makes it tough to plan for the future when the ground keeps shifting under my feet.

Parents bought a home in 2001 with about 30 grand net income and we lived very comfortably.
Making double that now and can barley pay our bills.

Theoretically there should be a smarter way however when a person's salary only increases let's 5% but cost of living goes up 25% that smarter way goes out the window. Especially when the national debt quadruples and we the people are stuck with that debt. This government has the audacity to give a credit rating to we the people when they are sending billions to other countries while blatantly ignoring its citizens.

Working harder is in fact not the only option that the working class has, understand that the reason we are in this mess is the result of complacency and arrogance of powerful people who still have names and addresses just like everyone else. I know what I’m doing when my same job’s pay is no longer sufficient

The only way you can live comfortably is if you live close with family and friends. It's hard to live alone.

As a native Californias the only way to beat inflation in my opinion is buy physical asset “property” and get a job with a pension.
