It's unfortunate that some kids today don't realize how great they have it when they grow up in a flying household. As private pilot myself I wish I had that growing up.

I can't believe this plane was made in 1976. The ride seems so quiet and effortless....all the power you would need....thumbs up!

Fun video. Loved the exterior in-flight views. For those of us who have never been in a Cessna 340 it would have been nice if you had given us a tour of the interior.

Seems like a beauty to fly. A mini airliner!

The sound of those engines bring back some fond memories. Cessna twin has a distinctive sound.

Another good one. Lovely plane. Every pilot has a story. Mom and Dad do we have to fly is a great one.

Awesome video. I was the very first Line Service Attendant hired at Sundance back in 1984. Good memories.

Another great episode Bobby; this guy Dave is very focused you can tell he is a commercial pilot with a lot of experience; he is talking to you but he is on his game the whole time; I have been in the little jets 6 and 8 seaters and I hate when they bank the planes coming in for a landing at some of these lesser known Canadian airstrips; you would swear they were bush pilots

340 is my favorite A/C other than the 414 this coming from a G/A mechanic of 40 years thanks for a great vid

I have always loved the 340. Ever since I worked at an FBO in the 80’s, while building time, I just really liked the look of this airplane. Such a perfect balance of size and power and pressurized. It’s a shame there aren’t more of these flying. Plenty of 310’s and 414’s, but not many 340’s. Thanks for highlighting two of these here on your channel ! Safe skies ! 🛫

I guess it all depends on your mission. I’ve been flying Part 121 for 30 years, Metroliner to 747-8 currently and on my days off I want to fly taildraggers and into bush strips. Sold my Experimental Cub and now fly Cessna 206 with big tires, into Idaho, Montana and Utah.

Nice plane and loved the description of it, his flying history and the pros and cons of the plane. Thanks for taking us and your plethora of GoPro cameras along.

That paint job took me back decades. Then hearing the run-up took me back further! Thanks.

I flew a 1982 340A for about 10 years and loved it, except when I got an expensive maintenance surprise. Same experience travelling with our kids - bored on long trips and usually decide to act up during an IMC approach. The look back at on those days fondly now however. Great video

Enjoyed watching your attention to the instrument panel during the flight. You are obviously a serious pilot.

The correct answer to “do you want to do one more” is always yes

The Cessna 340 is a very nice flying airplane with the added feature of the pressurisation, it looks so sleek too, that was a very nice approach and landing that you made there, I hope the 340 serves you and your family for a long time.
