Love making this. I used Rainbow Wrapsody by Yarn bee from Hobby Lobby. $8.99 for 918 yards/839 meters. 60% cotton 40% acrylic. Used D/3.25mm hook. Did double crochet foundation for 120 stitches. I measure my upper chest(34) for tops instead of my bust(36.5) because knitting and crocheting stretches and I seem to get a better fit. Thanks for the pattern.

I am writing this in hopes it helps someone from making the same mistake i made. I finally got around to making this beautiful top. I made size LARGE. From row 1, as stated in the pattern I was supposed to have counted 46 chain spaces which i did and never counted again until it came time to divide shell stitches between front, back and 2 armholes. I was short 1 shell stitch. Everything looked perfect from neck down. I started to count back along the rows hoping i wouldn’t have to rip out too many rows. YIKES!! My mistake was way back in row 3 at the join. It’s hardly noticeable but when we repeat the mistake throughout the yoke and then it comes time to divide the shell stitches between armholes and body, IT DOES NOT WORK OUT!!!! 😢😭 I have 15 shells in front and 14 in the back. I’ve decided not to rip back to 3rd row. I’ll chalk it up as “lesson learned” and will determine which looks best as front or back when I finish. I certainly learned my lesson to stop after each row to count my groups of stitches to be sure I’m not missing or adding anything to pattern. I hope this helps someone out there in crochet land.
I love this top and look forward to making it again and again. Thank you so much for your very unique and well demonstrated patterns and video tutorials. Ive made many of your garments and purses. What a gift you are to us. 💕

Have just finished this top I used Alize Silky Effect Ombre Batik, 250g, I made a medium with a size 4 mm hook and had quite a lot left over. I didn't want the mesh work too open and it's turned out lovely I don't have to wear anything under it in this heat. Really pleased ❤️
