I'm finally able to reveal which youtube content creator that this Big Block Mopar engine is for. More importantly, I show the complete process of cleaning, degreasing, drilling, grinding, R and R Cam bearings, freeze plugs, tower bushing and more!
This should be YOUR comprehensive guide to Preapring your Big block mopar engine for building.
Special thanks to @rickseeman5679 for checking the block for straightness, boring and finish honing in preparation for the 500 cubic inch 440source stroker kit.

Nice work Joe.
The 400 Block looks great.
I never seen a Mopar have that good of a deck.
That's nice.👍

It is such a delight to watch your stuff, Joe. No drama, no overbearing "influencer" creating
"content" fake personality stuff, just straight up informative information as presented by a
naturally personable fella. You and Rick are favorites of mine for that.

Brother Joe! That is lots of detail work! Excellent narrator work also. Explaining as you go and occasionally providing some top-notch background music. Highest marks for the video! I'll go tell Dave to send the crank and rods. I bet he will "next day air" them. LOL

If you cut off the finger pulls on the engine cleaning brushes you can chuck them in to drill motor directly also it allows you to pull the brushes through and eject the debris and crude instead of dragging back through the Enjoy your channel very much.

Nice video Joe. I was in a MC crash a week ago, pretty broken up, got home from hospital yesterday. Kind of sit and do nothing but control pain right now. My 400 block should be prepped soon from machinist, been 7 months. Looking forward to doing what you just did to Dave's. I've already done deburring and oil galley mods. Backing up some in my story, I was hoping you'd have a video like this to take my mind off things. You did, and thank you more than you know.

Joe if you ever nick those threads good we use this stuff called Expando in the High Pressure Steam and Ammonia Plants. Mix this stuff up, use it like pipe dope and plug it with new threaded plug and hit it with a torch and get it good and hot. It’ll never leak and is code for safety in ammonia.
This stuff is a life saver

Very meticulous. Gotta love a good bb mopar build. The 400 has great potential and will fit in a tighter spot than the venerable 440. Great job, informative video.
