Romaleos 2 user who also owns a pair of TYR Force 1s.

I wear an 11 in my Rom 2s and also in the TYR Force 1s. Do not size up by a half size. You will swim in the shoe.

In order to keep my heel in cup of the TYR Force 1s/ prevent my foot from sliding forward, I have to crank down the laces so tight that the eye holes for the laces nearly touch each other. If anything you could probably go true to size or a half size down.

The 40% off blackfriday sale they just had, made these a much better buy.

Honestly no hate… shoe looks cool, don’t mind the price, and I’m sure it feels amazing….. but the long laces and long straps just kill it for me… I can replace the laces but straps…. Imagine a few years in and how the straps will eventually look… no bueno 😞

Given the rubber outsole fraying on the TYR, do you think the durability would hold up well? I got these on the Christmas discount for 240$ but am wondering if I should get the LU’s instead because of durability… Thoughts? They would be similar prices. Using for my olympic lifts. Thanks! love how in depth you are!

Just got a second pair, the black for training, white for comps, want to keep them shiny. Helped me increase my split jerk to 200lbs from 190 in a two week span, just need to keep working the technique. I sized down a half size from normal and they fit perfect.

Just for squatting, what do you think is a better alternative to this? The Lu shoes maybe?
I'm asking because you mentioned about stability

I have a pair of CXT-2 size 9.5,
Would you recommend half size down or same size? The CXT fit perfectly for me!
Thanks for the amazing video!

My L1s frayed like this on the heel also. And came away a bit from the mid sole. Wonder if it’s a running theme

Is it possible to remove the insole or is it glued ? (I typically have a very tall foot and have to remove the insoles of most shoes to get that extra space)

I wear a size 11 UK in Romaleo 2s, but a 10.5 UK in Reebok Legacy (all versions.) Both those shoes fit perfectly for me. Would you advise an 11 in the Tyr, or do they 'run big' like the Reebok? Many thanks

I am in China, so sizing is really important since I can't return them. I have very wide feet and high instep, and I wear Romaleos 4 in size 11, which the length is a bit too long but it still fits snugged because of instep and foot width.

Should I just get size 11 in these as well? Or should I consider getting antas or lvxiaojuns? l1s is not in the list because the forefoot is too soft.

I will be only doing squats and similar leg workouts with these, and I need a wider toe box. Thanks of any advice.

So Ive worn a size 7 for the anta 2s and LXJs pretty snug fit. Running/workout shoes typically a 7.5/8. The Tyr site ai tool is recommending an 8.5 plus the size chart says my measurements are around 8-8.5.. use their recommended or stay a size 7?

The Lu's have a significantly smaller heel drop don't they? I'm confused by his comments

In normal shoes I’m a size 8.5, should I go a half size up or down in these ?

If I have a regular foot width, size 10.5 (should I size up or down?)
